FRANKY’S
REPORT As
far as I can remember, I make use of the Heckler & Koch MP5 A5 at the
airsoft skirmishing days. At
first, I played with other kind of weapons, like the XM, but in my opinion
these weapons are to large, long and heavy. When you try to sneak up on
something or someone, it is in your advantage that the weapon you are carrying
doesn’t hinder you on your way. ADVANTAGES
Small
:
not to heavy to carry, you can extend the buttend at your convenience Practical
: it doesn’t
hinder you while you’re running Powerful
: a good range,
a good ROF Precise
: whatever I
aim at, I usually hit (the precision also depends on your hop-up settings) Selector
: you can use
automatic and semi-automatic fire Magazine
: you have
magazines with several capacities, so you can keep on firing
for a while without recharging Sight
: 4 positions
are possible to set your sight DISADVANTAGES
Selector
: the selector
can be used at both sides of the weapon. At one side there is a screw that
needs to be checked from time to time. This way you can avoid losing your
selector (cost : +/- 24.79 EUR, and be aware of the term of delivery). When
you put down your MP5, pay attention that you don’t damage the selector. Buttend
: isn’t so
strong as shown in the movie “Die Hard”, in which it can bear the weight
of a person. You better handle it with care. The buttend can be practical when
aiming, but you better not burden it like Bruce Willis. I don’t know anybody
who broke or damaged the buttend of his MP5, but nevertheless I’m careful
with it. Battery
: some
handiness can be useful when installing you battery (sometimes it can take a
little bit longer before your battery is properly installed) |
